FREE RADIO TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR DUBLIN 15 MIGRANTS

Phoenix FM announces a new free and exciting training and volunteering opportunity thanks to the Caring Communities Foundation Grant Scheme. The project aims to equip members of migrant groups and/or ethnic minorities operating within Dublin 15 with the necessary skills and training to actively engage with mainstream, community and independent media.
Free training will be provided to 10 participants. The course will meet the requirements of the QQI Level 4 course 'Introduction to Community Radio' and will also include modules on Media Literacy and Media for Social Justice.
Training is free for the first 10 participants and will lead to FETAC Level 4 in'Introduction to Community Radio'.
Date: The course runs from 16th July until Tuesday 13th August from 10.30am to 5pm every Tuesday.
