South Dublin County Council Intercultural Liaison Volunteers Meeting

One of the most novel initiatives developed in Dublin to improve inter-community relations as well as relations between new communities and the Local Authority, is the role of the Intercultural Liaison Volunteer.

Intercultural Liaison Volunteers act as a link between communities and their Local Authority. The Intercultural Liaison Volunteers, who are themselves community activists, operate within Local Authority housing estates in South County Dublin.
