New Communities Partnership & Dublin Employment Pact seek a Community Link Worker for its European Integrated Fund Project Promoting Civic Participation of Third Country Nationals through Local Authority Platforms.

Job Description Community Link Project Worker (Part-Time)

 

  • Initiate, maintain and develop a working relationship with key third country nationals groups and individuals in Dublin region
  • Provide support to project staff, volunteers and minority ethnic representatives
  • Identify needs & priorities in consultation with the Project Steering Committee
  • Work collaboratively with other NGO's and Dublin local Government agencies to achieve local integration and ensure that rights are safeguarded to equality of treatment, opportunities and outcome
  • Support ethnic minority groups in relation to their development, training and active participation in local communities.
  • Maintain communications with members in the local community
  • Organise meetings, workshops, conference, sporting and cultural events
  • Maintain records and database of contacts, call records and statistics and prepare requires reports to facilitate monitoring, evaluation and compliance requirements
  • Attend meetings locally and nationally as required in furthering the development of this project
  • Participate in supervision, project evaluation and monitoring as required

The position will be based in New Communities Partnership, 10 Cornmarket, Dublin 8.

Position is part-time 2.5 days or 17.5hrs per week and for a fixed term.
