NCP Launches EM-Cubate, a New Exciting Ethnic Minority Business Incubation Programme

19 Jan 2012

EM-Cubate is an Ethnic Minority Business Incubation Programme developed by Ballymun Whitehall Area Partnership (BWAP), New Communities Partnership (NCP) and Dublin City Council to facilitate Irish-based ethnic-minorities into self-employment by:

  • Supporting the individual to develop a more formalised business idea;
  • Introducing individuals to the topic areas under a bespoke Write Your Own Business Programme and delivering such to meet the needs of the target group;
  • Facilitating the completion of a business plan per individual;
  • Facilitating a network of interested individuals and other stakeholders;
  • Aiding individuals into the start-up phase through one-to-one support.
  • Support in seeking Office/business Space and Virtual Office facilities

The participant will be a start-up or early-stage business, established by an Irish-based ethnic-minority entrepreneur.

Following our recent information seminars, EMcubate will run a 'Write Your Own Business Plan' programme for entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs from the new Irish communities. It will be run over 7 evening sessions to accommodate those with daytime commitments and at the end of the programme, participants will have their business plan actually written.
