Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance for Eligible Families Opens

The Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance (BTSCFA) helps meet the cost of uniforms and footwear for children going to school. The parent or guardian must be getting certain social welfare payments or taking part in training, employment or adult education schemes with a child or children aged between 4 and 17 on or before 30 September of the year of application or aged between 18 and 22 on or before 30 September if in second-level education.
