Day of Action on Refugee Crisis

This Saturday, the 5th of September, has been declared a Day of Action in solidarity with refugees seeking refuge in Europe. Irish people are not standing by as the worst humanitarian crisis since the Second World War unfolds before our eyes.
If you live in Dublin there will be a gathering at the Famine Memorial in Dublin at 1pm on Saturday where we will have a minute of silence and hear about the crisis and how it is impacting on people. This is being organised with the Irish Refugee Council and Migrant Rights Centre Ireland. Help spread the word amongst friends and family.
Events throughout the country are being organised so keep an eye out in your locality!
