Martial Arts Programme - K² Karate Kid
"K2"Karate Kid is a project that aims to empower and equip children from the age of 5 to 15 with basic life principles such as the sense of effort, perseverance, respect and courtesy. NCP has identified the need to provide children with recreational activities and give children staying in Accommodation Centres sporting skills that may be useful later in their life.
Goals / Objectives
1. Equip children martial arts skills & technique
2. Equip children with basic principles of self respect, respect for others and self control
This Kids' program is run by NCP run in collaboration with the Management of the Knockalisheen Accomodation Centre and Jai Chan, Martial Arts volunteer.
DATE & TIME: Every Saturday commencing on Sat Nov 6th 2010 until Sat Jan 15th 201. Time 10:30 - 12:00
LOCATION: Playroom Knockalisheen Centre, Meelick, Limerick
"K1" is a Martial Arts competition organised for adult athletes and professional competitors in a world championship. The competition shows champions performing at a high level but this actually is the result of many years of efforts and perseverance.
