NCP Makes Submission to Department of Justice and Equality White Paper on Crime.

The Government is developing a White Paper on Crime which will set out the overall policy framework for strategies to combat and prevent crime. The development of the White Paper involves the examination of current approaches to intervention, prevention and enforcement, with a view to reducing offending and protecting the public.
The Department of Justice and Equality is undertaking extensive and inclusive consultation as part of the process, utilising a variety of formats. This consultation process provides members of the public as well as relevant public agencies and other interested bodies with the opportunity to contribute fully to the development of the White Paper.
