Seminar and Report Launch Tomorrow: "Integrating Minority Ethnic Communities into the service of the North East Inner City"

7 November 2018

Important Invitation for All Members: Tomorrow (Wednesday 7th November 2018), the seminar: "Integrating Minority Ethnic Communities into the service of the North East Inner City" takes place at the Dublin Convention Centre, from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

This is a seminar we encourage any organisation or suitable representative who can come along to attend. The seminar is being held following a process of interviews, focus groups and a survey amongst community organisations, from which a report was produced titled: “Securing roots”; Integrating Minority Ethnic People into Local Community Services in the North East Inner City - a small scale study.

The findings of this report will be presented at the seminar and you will get a chance to air your views. The seminar will explore issues regarding: housing; education; employment; legal status; racism; cultural competency and how people are finding a sense of place for themselves in the north east inner city.

Services working across the range of sectors as well as representatives from Government Departments and local strategic structures are all welcome.

Lunch will be provided.

Booking is not required; just be sure to show up early tomorrow to get your seat.
