LOCAL AUTHORITY WORK EXPERIENCE FOR THIRD COUNTRY NATIONALS

New Communities Partnership & Dublin Employment Pact are seeking applicants for the 2011 Work Experience Scheme Programme beginning in June 2011.

The programme is targeting Third Country Nationals living (legally residing) in specific areas of the Dublin Region for work experience in three Local Authorities; Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council & Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

  • The scheme will commence in June 2011 and the placement will last 10 weeks.
  • All applications from people legally resident in Ireland and living in one of the
  • above Local Authority areas will be considered.
  • However, preference may be given to applicants who have come through the asylum process and/or have 'leave to remain' in Ireland.
  • Participants are paid a fee of €70 per week to cover travel & subsistence expenses
