Dept of Justice Simplifies Application Process on Zambrano Ruling

The Department of Justice has simplified the application processs under the Zambrano Ruling.

The Department of Justice on 16 May 2011 simplified the application process for affected persons granted residency on Stamps 2 & 3 conditions.

Persons can now attend the Garda National Immigration Bureau, Burgh Quay, Dublin 1 in person with a list of documents in order to have their status upgraded. Certain applicants in Ireland have already had their residency rights reviewed and updated in line with the ruling of March 2011.
